Objective

Long-term capital appreciation.

Strategy

Seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of companies that Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC, the ETF's investment manager, believes have above-average growth prospects.

Investment Style

The investment manager combines fundamental and quantitative analysis with risk management in identifying investment opportunities and constructing the ETF's portfolio. The investment manager considers, among other factors: overall economic and market conditions; the financial condition and management of a company, including its competitive position, the quality of its balance sheet and earnings, its future prospects, and the potential for growth and stock price appreciation.

Market Price is based on the midpoint of the bid/ask spread at 4 p.m. ET and does not represent the returns an investor would receive if shares were traded at other times.

*A calculation disseminated by the stock exchange that approximates the Fund's NAV every 15 seconds throughout the trading day.

The Russell 1000 Growth Index measures the performance of those Russell 1000 companies with higher price-to-book ratios and higher forecasted growth values. An investor can not invest directly in an index.
